Scholarship Program

Eligibility & Requirements

One $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to a current graduating senior (Class of 2026) to assist with their future academic endeavors.

To Qualify You Must:

  • Be a graduating high school senior (Class of 2026)
  • Demonstrate strong character, integrity, and service to others
  • Show financial need
  • Provide three letters of recommendation
  • Provide a GPA and transcript (official or unofficial)
  • Submit a 500–750 word essay

Deadline

Friday, March 20, 2026. Scholarships will be awarded the last half of April.

Prompt (500–750 words): Dale and Nancy Murphy believe that character is the true measure of success. Describe a time in your life when your character was tested. How did you respond? What did you learn about yourself, and how do you hope to carry these lessons forward into your future?

PDF or Word document, 500–750 words.
Three letters of recommendation are required — at least one from a teacher or school staff member; others may come from coaches, employers, community leaders, or mentors.
