At The Dale Murphy Foundation, we believe in the power of baseball to create lasting change. Founded by legendary MLB player Dale Murphy, this nonprofit continues his lifelong commitment to service, compassion, and empowering others.
Drawing inspiration from Dale's celebrated career and his dedication to humanitarian work — recognized by the Roberto Clemente Award and induction into the World Humanitarian Hall of Fame — we aim to make baseball more accessible for every child and every community.
Dale's impact goes far beyond the diamond. Named one of Sports Illustrated's "Athletes Who Care the Most," he has supported a wide range of nonprofit initiatives, including Cystic Fibrosis, Operation Smile, Tunnels to Towers, Boys & Girls Clubs, and the MLB Players Trust.

What We Stand For

For many families, the rising cost of youth sports creates barriers that prevent kids from experiencing the physical, emotional, and social benefits of playing. We provide scholarships, equipment, and program support to remove those barriers.
